You talked for an hour. Walk away with what matters.1

Recado records the meeting or the class and gives you back a summary in the language it was spoken in: what was discussed, what was agreed, and who committed to what.

ScheduleEdit
This is what a Recado note looks like. Example with a fictional conversation.

The meeting is over and you are already forgetting it. You don't need to listen to it again: you need to know what came out of it.

3 h
per recording from the iPhone
45 min
from the Apple Watch, even when the iPhone isn't nearby

Three things, and it does them well.

One quality level, the best one, every time. There are no modes to pick and no labels to decode: you open it, you record, and you get the best result it can give.

  • It records without getting in the way

A meeting, a class, a consultation or an idea out of nowhere. From the iPhone with the screen locked, or from the Apple Watch without pulling your phone out.

  • It hands back a document

A transcript with every speaker identified2 and a structured summary: context, agreements, action items with an owner and a date, and open questions.

  • And it lets you finish it

You fix the text by hand, ask a chat for changes, schedule what was left pending, and send it out wherever you already work.

TranscriptAna, Luis and you

  • Ana“With that adjustment the budget does work for us.”
  • Luis“I'll send you the quote on the 18th.”
  • Ana“See you Thursday at the plant.”
Who said what, and at what minute. Speakers get renamed: “Speaker 2” becomes “Luis”. Tap a line and you hear that moment.

From a red button to a set of minutes.3

  1. You hit the red button

The first time, it reminds you to tell everyone else that you're recording. After that: a timer, a waveform and a flag to mark what matters. You can lock the iPhone and get on with your day. If a call comes in, it pauses and resumes on its own.

  2. Recado transcribes, speaker by speaker

It isn't one block of text: every turn is attributed and time-stamped. You rename each speaker once and the name sticks. Tap any line to hear that exact moment.

  3. It writes the summary

Context, agreements, action items with an owner and a date, open questions. Six templates (meeting, class, idea, interview, consultation and WhatsApp voice note) and Recado picks the right one. You can close the app: it tells you when the note is ready.

  4. You decide what to do with it

You fix it, ask for changes, schedule whatever came with a date, and share it. The note stays in your library, with folders, tags, and search inside the title, the summary and the transcript.

Budget meeting with the client

  1. Recording 00:48:12

A timer, a waveform and live captions. Pause, and flag the important moments with a tap.

  2. Transcribing

Who said what, and at what minute.

  3. Summarizing

Agreements and action items, already sorted out. Recado picks the template from what it heard. You can change it and regenerate.

  4. Done

Schedule it and share it. And from there it goes out by WhatsApp, email, Notes, PDF, Markdown or plain text.

From the recording to the finished note, with the same fictional example.

The summary isn't the end. It's the draft.

Every word of it is yours and every word can be changed: the title, the summary, the agreements, the action items, the speaker names and the transcript.

  • Edit it by hand, with no limit. Fixing the text doesn't use anything up.
  • Or ask the chat. “Make it shorter”, “more formal, I'm sending it to the client”, “add the amounts”.4
  • Nothing is overwritten behind your back. You see the proposal and choose Apply or Discard.
  • You can always go back. The original summary is still there even if you've changed it ten times.
  • It only talks about your note. Ask it something that wasn't said in the conversation and it tells you so instead of making it up.
  • The counter stays in sight. How many requests you've used this month, inside the note and in Settings.

The kraft cardboard is missing, add it to the action items.

  • Recado

Added it. Proposal: Luis · send the kraft cardboard quote · May 18. He said it at minute 24:15.

  • You

What did Ana say about the budget?

  • Recado

At minute 12:40: “With that adjustment the budget does work for us.”

Every message counts as one request3 of 50 this month

The chat inside the note, with the same example conversation. Nothing changes until you choose Apply.

What matters almost never announces itself.

Someone catches you in the hallway, the client drops the date on the way out, something occurs to you while you're driving. Pulling out your phone takes fifteen seconds. With the watch it takes two.5

  • With the iPhone nearby

The watch commands, the phone records. The iPhone records, because its microphone is better, and the watch is the remote: timer, pause and moment flags. Recado picks this on its own, without asking.

  • Without the iPhone nearby

It records on your wrist and nothing is lost. Up to 45 minutes stored on the watch. When the watch and the iPhone find each other again, the recording transfers on its own. The audio isn't deleted from the watch until the iPhone confirms it already has it.

Minutes recorded from the watch come out of your plan exactly like the ones from the iPhone. There's no separate quota and no extra charge.

Recording

12:07

Lower your wrist: it keeps recording

Its own app, a complication on the watch face and “Hey Siri, record with Recado”.

Whatever came with a date won't slip away.

“See you Thursday”, “I'll send it to you on the 18th”, “put the plant visit on the calendar”. Recado catches it and puts it in front of you so you can decide.

  • It catches it

With the sentence that said it. Every commitment arrives with what Recado understood (title, date, time if one was said, and participants) and with the exact sentence from the conversation and its minute, so you can confirm nothing was misread.6

  • You decide

One by one or all at once. Schedule creates the event in Calendar; Remind creates the reminder in Reminders; Edit fixes the date, the time or the title before creating it; Discard drops it. Recado never creates anything on its own.

  • And it leaves the app

Through whatever you already use. WhatsApp, email or Notes. Or export as PDF, Markdown or plain text. You can also bring audio in: import from Files and Voice Memos, or share a WhatsApp voice note to Recado.

Recado resolves spoken dates (“Thursday”, “in two weeks”, “end of the month”) against the date of the recording, and shows you the resolved date. If a time is ambiguous or two dates conflict, it flags it instead of guessing. The Calendar and Reminders permission is optional: if you don't grant it, Recado still lists the commitments inside the note.

A detected commitment, with the sentence that said it and its minute. Recado never creates anything on its own.

Three plans. The same quality in all three.

The only thing that changes is how much you use. The Free plan is enough to try Recado on a real meeting and see the result; if you record often, you'll want a paid one.

  • Subscription through the App Store
  • Cancel whenever you want
  • Free plan with no card and no account
  • Prices in Mexican pesos

Free

MX$0 forever

No card, no account to create

  • 20 minutes of processed audio a month
  • 5 requests to the note chat a month

To try it on a real meeting and see what you get back.

Essential

MX$149 a month

or MX$1,499 a year, that works out to MX$125 a month

  • 500 minutes of processed audio a month (8 hr 20 min)
  • 50 requests to the chat inside a note each month

For the typical professional: 5 to 15 meetings a month fit with room to spare.

Pro

Twice everything

MX$249 a month

or MX$2,499 a year, that works out to MX$208 a month

  • 1,000 minutes of processed audio a month (16 hr 40 min)
  • 100 requests to the chat inside a note each month

For heavy use: daily classes, or a consultant's packed calendar.

In all three plans

  • Every template, with speakers identified
  • Unlimited editing by hand
  • Apple Watch, Calendar, Reminders and export

Minutes are counted on the audio actually processed, rounded up to the minute, and they reset every month on your subscription date, even if you paid for the full year; on the Free plan, on the date you started using Recado. They don't roll over from one month to the next. The Free plan is one per iPhone per month and has a shared daily cap: if it fills up that day, your note comes out the next day, with nothing lost. Editing by hand never uses requests; regenerating the summary does. If you run out of minutes, the recording is saved in full and the note waits for its summary. If you run out of requests, the note can still be edited by hand. And if you end your subscription, you go back to the Free plan and your notes stay where they are. See the terms of service.

The audio goes away the moment it's no longer needed.

  • Your notes live on your iPhone

And, if you turn on syncing with Sign in with Apple, their text and your edits live in your own iCloud too.

  • The audio is deleted once it's processed

It leaves your phone only to be transcribed and summarized, and it's erased when the work is done. It isn't used to train models.

  • No advertising and no tracking

Using Recado takes no email address, no password and no phone number. Apple handles the billing: Recado never receives your card details.

Tell the other people before you record, and get whatever consent applies: the app reminds you the first time, and where the law demands it, the responsibility is yours.

What Recado doesn't do.

We'd rather tell you here than after you've paid.

  • It doesn't record phone calls: iOS doesn't allow third-party apps to. On speakerphone it does work.
  • It doesn't send a bot into your Zoom, Meet or Teams meetings.
  • It has no shared spaces, teams, company accounts or collaborative notes.
  • It isn't built for clinical, legal or financial use with formal compliance requirements.
  • It has no iPad app of its own and no web version.
  • The transcript and the summary can get things wrong: always check dates, amounts and agreements.

What you're almost certainly wondering.

Can I download it yet?

Not yet. Recado is in the works and it will be available very soon on the App Store in Mexico and the United States for iPhone, in Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, German and Italian. More countries, more languages and Android are coming soon. When it's published we'll announce it here and at olevior.com; if you want us to let you know, write to us.

What do I need to use it?

An iPhone with iOS 26 or later. You start on the Free plan; to use more, a subscription. To record from your wrist, a compatible Apple Watch. Processing a recording needs a connection: with no internet, Recado records all the same and sends the audio as soon as the signal is back.

Do I have to create an account?

No. There's no email address, password or phone number to hand over. Sign in with Apple is optional and it's there to sync your notes across your devices; if you don't turn it on, that's the only thing you lose.

What language does it summarize in?

In the language that was spoken: Recado detects it on its own. If you'd rather have a fixed one, pick it in Settings: Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, German or Italian.

What happens if I run out of minutes?

The recording is saved in full and is never lost. The note is left “waiting for its summary”, and you can move up a plan (it's processed right away) or wait for the next cycle. Recado warns you when you've used 80% and 100% of your minutes.

And if I cancel my subscription?

When the paid period ends you go back to the Free plan: 20 minutes and 5 requests a month. All your notes stay put: you can read them, edit them by hand, share them and export them.

Can I summarize audio that someone sent me?

Yes. You can import from Files and Voice Memos, or share audio to Recado from another app (WhatsApp voice notes included). Imported audio uses up minutes just like recorded audio.

What happens to my audio afterwards?

It leaves your phone only to be transcribed and summarized, and it's erased as soon as the work is done. It isn't kept and it isn't used to train models. The details and the time limits are in the privacy policy.

Can I record other people?

Tell them first. The app reminds you the first time you record, and the responsibility for having whatever consent the law requires in your case is yours, not Recado's.

Let talking leave something behind.
