VOZ Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and us about your use of the VOZ app for iPhone. They are written to be easy to understand. By using VOZ, you accept these terms.

1. Acceptance and what VOZ is

VOZ is an app that turns your notes into spoken, personal phrases to help you remember things. It has two modes:

  • Local (free): works with no account, no internet and no servers. Everything happens on your phone.
  • Premium (subscription): offers natural voices generated in the cloud.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the app.

2. License to use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use VOZ on your Apple devices, for personal purposes only. The app remains our property; this license does not transfer its ownership to you.

3. Premium subscription

  • The Premium subscription is auto-renewing.
  • Billing and management are carried out by Apple through your App Store account.
  • It renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can cancel at any time from iOS Settings › your Apple ID › Subscriptions.
  • The prices are shown inside the app before you purchase.

4. Local mode is always free

Local mode is available for free and with no need to create an account. Subscribing is not required to use VOZ: the subscription only adds the natural voices of Premium mode.

5. Acceptable use

We ask you to use VOZ responsibly: do not use it for unlawful purposes and do not abuse the voice-generation service (for example, with an excessive or automated volume of requests that affects the service for other people).

6. Important notice: VOZ is an aid, not a medical device

VOZ is a reminders aid. It is not a medical device and does not replace the advice of a health professional. Do not make medical decisions based solely on the app.

In addition, VOZ does not guarantee the timely delivery of notifications, since these depend on your phone's operating system. For important matters, do not rely exclusively on the app's reminders.

7. Intellectual property

The VOZ app, its name, its design and its content belong to us and are protected. You may not copy, modify or distribute the app beyond what is permitted by these terms and by the App Store rules.

8. Limitation of liability and "as is"

VOZ is provided "as is", with no guarantee that it will work without errors or interruptions. To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for damages arising from the use of the app, including the case where a notification is not delivered on time.

9. Termination and account deletion

You can stop using VOZ whenever you want. If you created an account, you can delete it from within the app; doing so erases your account data on the server and the data stored on your phone. We may suspend access if these terms are breached.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States, and any dispute will be resolved before the competent courts of Mexico City.
